Out of a total of 116 mosquitoes enging to An... maculatus species collected from human dwellings (HD), cattle sheds (CD) and mixed -eings (MD) from different localities like Anarwala, Lacchiwala and Sahastradhara of Doon valley, 40 remens show variations in wings, palpi and hind legs. Maximum number of specimens of An, maculatus were lected during March-May and September whereas maximum numbers of variations were found during and September. An attempt has been made to correlate the morphological variations in relation to seasonal prevalence of mosquitoes.
