Abstract

The present investigation deals with description of biochemical content of gastro-intestinal cestodes parasites of freshwater fish Clarias batrachus. The caryophyllidean cestodes are the most pathogenic parasites in Clarias battrachus in tropic and sub-tropic areas. The present study deals with biochemistry (protein, glycogen and lipids) of caryophyllidean cestode in freshwater Cat fish. Clarias batrachus (Linnaeus, 1954).
